New York Choral Society Announces 2026-27 Season

The New York Choral Society has announced its 2026-27 season.

The season will open with “A Child of our Time.” Blending the passion tradition of Bach and Handel with the spiritual force of African American spirituals. This performance is in partnership with the Mannes School of Music, featuring their exceptional orchestra and faculty soloists.

Performance Date: October 26, 2026 at David Geffen Hall


The second performance of the season will be “A Very Merry Brooklyn” with the Brooklyn Chamber Orchestra.

Performance Date: December 2027 at St. Ann & the Holy Trinity


The season will include “Duke Ellington’s Sacred Concerts” with combination of jazz, gospel, blues, classical music, and tap dance.

Performance Date: April 2 & 3, 2027 at the Rose Theater, Jazz at Lincoln Center


Haydn’s “The Creation” will be performed with the Brooklyn Chamber Orchestra.

Performance Date: May 2027 at the St. Ann & the Holy Trinity
