
New Rochelle Opera to Feature ‘Great Moments from the Grand Stage!’
By David SalazarNew Rochelle Opera will present “Great Moments from the Grand Stage!” on Sunday, Nov. 9, 2025, at 3 p.m. in the Christopher Murphy Auditorium at Iona University.
The showcase features soprano Christina Major, tenor Jeremy Brauner, mezzo-soprano Michelle Detwiler, baritone Jason Detwiler, and pianist Alla Milchtein. Artistic and General Director Jason Tramm will serve as emcee for the occasion.
The first half of the program will showcase arias and ensembles from opera’s greatest composers as well as selections from Verdi’s “Nabucco,” which the company will present in concert in 2026.
The second half of the program will then spotlight Broadway classics.
“This concert beautifully bridges the worlds of opera and musical theatre and features performing artists that will thrill and inspire in both,” said Maestro Tramm, per an official press release. “Audiences will experience the timeless power of the unamplified human voice.”
