New Philharmonic To Present ‘Die Fledermaus’

The New Philharmonic will open its 2019 with Strauss II’s “Die Fledermaus.”

Under the direction of Maestro Kirk Muspratt, the operetta will star Katherine R. Weber as Rosalinde, Jesse Donner as Eisenstein, and Mikaela Schneider as Adele. Other members of the cast include Ashley Sipka, Brittany Hebel, Matthew Greenblatt, Sam Handley, Michael La Tour, James Judd, and Aaron Wardell.

The operetta will be staged by Michael La Tour and will be sung in English with a free MAC Chat one hour prior to each performance.

La Tour has directed several operas in the past including “The Magic Flute,” “The Marriage of Figaro,” “La Traviata. “Die Fledermaus,” “Romeo et Juliette,” “The Mikado” and “La Bohème.”

The opera will be performed on Jan. 26 and 27, 2019.
