New Opera Company ‘Strange Trace’ to Inaugurate This July

Several performance artists have put their joint efforts together to create a new opera company entitled “Strange Trace.”

The organization is located in the Boston and New England area and will focus on the creation and presentation of new works of music theater in a number of unique venues.

The company will inaugurate with “See You Today, a series of six short scenes that introduce several company members. It will be available for streaming on July 15.

The organization is also in the midst of developing “The Missing Piece,” a new zoom opera that will premiere in October.

The organization also noted that it is preparing to present opera in person at some point in the near future when it is safe to do so.

“Strange Trace” was formed by Felix Aguilar Tomlinson, Frances Kruske, Erin Matthews, Greg Nahabedian, Joshua Scheid, and Elena Stabile.
