New National Theatre Tokyo to Present ‘La Bohème’

In a celebration of its 25th anniversary, The New National Theatre – Tokyo (NNTT) will conclude with Puccini’s “La Bohème,” running from June 28 to July 8, 2023.

Alessandra Marianelli and Stephen Costello will take the stage as Mimì and Rodolfo, respectively, in a production directed by Aguni Jun and conducted by NNTT Artistic Director Ono Kazushi.

Additionally, making her debut with NNTT, Italian soprano Valentina Mastrangelo will assume the role of Musetta. Sudo Shingo will be Marcello while Komada Toshiaki will be Schaunard and Francesco Leone will appear as Colline.

Audiences unable to attend any of the live performances can still check out the July 2 as it will be live-streamed and available as VOD from July 16 – August 12.
