New Camerata Opera has announced a holiday encore presentation of “The Sleuth Salon” slated for Dec. 17, 2020.

The showcase, which was originally presented on Nov. 12, 2020, features sopranos Samina Aslam, María Brea, MaKayla McDonald, and Barbara Porto; mezzo-sopranos Eva Parr and Julia Tang; tenors Erik Bagger and Victor Khodadad; and baritones Stan Lacy and Scott Lindroth. “The Sleuth Salon” was directed by Jennifer Williams who worked alongside music director Dan Franklin Smith.

The event also features a virtual red carpet and an ugly Christmas sweater costume contest. The Special Holiday Encore presentation of “The Sleuth Salon” kicks off at 8 p.m. EST and can be viewed directly on New Camerata Opera’s official website.

The company previously announced its 2020-21 season, which will include a “Masquerade” to open the season, as well as a YouTube series “Party at the Opera” and the final episode of “The Ives Project.”
