New Amsterdam Opera has announced the cover cast for its upcoming “La Dame Blanche.”

The cast includes Erin O’Rourke as Anna, James Danner as Georges Brown, Kofi Hayford as Gaveston, Faith Shiber as Marguerite, and Charlotte Bagwell as Jenny. The cover cast will be involved in a preview concert of the work; this showcase is set to take place on May 1, 2022, at The Brownstone Haus der Musik in New York City.

A performance of the rare opera will follow the preview showcase under the baton of Keith Chambers. The principal cast includes Arnold Livingston Geis, Katy Lindhart, Tyler Putnam, Joe Lodato, Kathleen Norchi, Laura Zahn, and Andrew Dwan.

That performance will be held at The Center at West Park on 86^th Street.

Over the years, New Amsterdam Opera has presented a plethora of rare operas including “La Forza del Destino,” “Hérodiade,” “Les Vêpres Siciliennes,” and “La Favorita.” The company has also presented “Fidelio” and Händel’s “Messiah.”
