Never Again Association Launches ‘Music Against War’ Initiative

By Chris Ruel

The Never Again Association has launched a new initiative, ‘Music Against War,’ which invites musicians to join in solidarity with the Ukrainian people and those affected by war the world over.

To symbolize support, the Association has created an emblem for the anti-war campaign, created by the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts graduate, Witold Popiel.

‘Music Against War,’ dovetails with the organization’s long-term campaign, ‘Music Against Racism.

“At the moment when we enjoy our favourite music during a gig or at home, innocent people are dying. We must not ignore it, let’s show solidarity with Ukraine and with all the refugees from war zones. The Music Against War symbol can be included on a poster for your show, on a record cover, everybody can share it on social media,” the Association said in an official press statement.

The Association also invites the music world who wish to release tracks, videos, or albums with promotional support from the Association to get in touch via email at [email protected]

‘NEVER AGAIN’ is an anti-racist organization founded in Warsaw in 1996, campaigning against anti-Semitism, racism, and xenophobia, and promoting peace, intercultural dialogue, and human rights globally.
