The Opéra de Tours has announced its 2025-26 season.

Opera

Charles Mesrine, Anaïs Merlin, Mathilde Ortscheidt, Maxime Le Gall, and Camille Brault star in Herve’s “Le Petit Faust.”

Performance Dates: Nov. 16 & 18, 2025

Offenhbach’s “Orphee aux Enfers” will star Matthieu Justine, Manon Lamaison, Jérôme Boutillier, Adriana Bignagni-Lesca, Rodolphe Briand, Mathias Vidal, Marie Kalinine, and Anaïs Constans. Marc Leroy-Calatayud conducts the production by Olivier Py.

Performance Dates: Dec. 29-Jan. 4, 2026

Florie Valiquette, Mathias Vidal, Gwendoline Blondeel, Enguerrand de Hys, Patrick Bolleire, and Michel Fau star in Mozart’s “Die Entführung aus dem Serail.” Alizé Léhon conducts the production by Michel Fau.

Performance Dates: Jan. 20-Feb. 3, 2026

Gounod’s “Faust” will star Thomas Bettinger, Vannina Santoni, Éléonore Pancrazi, Luigi De Donato, and Anas Seguin. Laurent Campellone conducts the production by Jean-Claude Berutti.

Performance Dates: March 4-8, 2026

Florie Valiquette, Philippe Talbot, Éléonore Pancrazi, and Jean-François Lapointe star in Donizetti’s “La Fille du Régiment.” Adrien Perruchon conducts the production by Jean-Romain Vesperini.

Performance Dates: May 29-June 2, 2026

Recitals 

Natalie Dessay will give two recitals. The first is with Philippe Cassard titled “Oiseaux de passage” and the second title “Chants d’Oiseaux” with Johnny Rasse and Shani Diluka.

Mathias Vidal performs “Passion Mozart.”

Vannina Santoni performs “Mother.”

Performance Date: Feb. 12, 2026

Franck Leugerinel will perform a recital titled “Ménageries.”

Performance Date: March 26, 2026

Éléonore Pancrazi will perform the final recital of the season.

Performance Date: May 7, 2026

Concerts 

Jeanne Mendoche, Hagar Sharvit, Sébastien Droy, and Igor Mostovoï will perform Mozart’s “Grand Mass” with David Jackson conducting.
