On August 19, Easton, Maryland’s Gabriela Montero at Prager Festival opened its second annual series with a concert by Nadine Sierra and Bryan Wagorn.

The concert was held at the Prager Family Center, which is an intimate hall that seats 150 audience members and brings them into the concert. Sierra, who performs at the Metropolitan Opera, is the most recent international star in the series following performances by Joshua Bell, Larisa Martinez, Yuja Wang, Marc-André Hamelin and Gabriela Montero, who is also set to perform this season.

Season two will see one more high-profile vocal performance; Morris Robinson. The bass will perform a Christmas concert alongside Montero on Dec. 16.

There will also be a concert with players of the Metropolitan Opera led by Costa Rican Horn player Hugo Valverde. The concert, scheduled for May 25, will showcase string players and Valverde performing Mozart.
