
Nadine Sierra Cancels Arena di Verona Performances

The soprano was to have performed “La Traviata” on August 2 and “Rigoletto” on August 8, 2025.
In a statement the soprano said, “It is with deep regret that I must announce the cancellation of my upcoming performances at the Arena di Verona due to health reasons. This decision has not been made lightly, but upon the advice of my doctors, I must prioritize my recovery and overall well-being. I was greatly looking forward to singing in the beautiful city of Verona once again. To the audience and the entire production team, please accept my sincerest apologies. I am truly sorry for any disappointment or inconvenience this may cause. I look forward to returning to the stage soon. Thank you for your understanding and kindness.”
Gilda Fiume replaced Sierra in “La Traviata” while Nina Minasyan will sing Gila in “Rigoletto.”
