Nadine Sierra, Anna Netrebko, Jonas Kaufmann & Rachel Willis-Sorensen Highlight Opera De Bordeaux’s 2019-20 Season

Eric Cutler and Adam Smith share the title role in Offenbach’s “Les Contes d’Hoffmann” with Jessica Pratt singing the four heroines, Nicolas Cavallier as the four villains, and Aude Extrémo as Nicklausse. Marc Minkowski conducts.

Marianne Crebassa sings the title role of Handel’s “Ariodante” with Ana Maria Labin, Yuriy Mynenko, James Platt, Caroline Jestaedt, and Valerio Contaldo. Marc Minkowski conducts the concert performances.

Marc Leroy Calatayud conducts “La Legende du Roi Dragon” with Alix Le Saux, Marie Picaut, Adriana Bignagni Lesca, Damien Pass, and Tomislav Lavoie .

Rubenstein’s “The Demon” stars Nicolas Cavallier, Evgenia Muravera, Bror Magnus Tødenes, Ray Chenez, Alexandros Stavrakakis, Svetlana Lifar, Luc Bertin-Hugault, and Paul Gaugler. The production by Dmitry Bertman is conducted by Paul Daniel.

Paul Daniel conducts a new production of Gounod’s “Roméo et Juliette” by Justin Way. The opera is set to star Nadine Sierra and Pene Pati in the lead roles with Nicolas Courjal, Philippe-Nicolas Martin, and Adèle Charvet.
