Nacho Castellanos Headlines ‘The Purcell Tongue’ at FIAS 2024

The Festival International de Arte Sacro (FIAS) will present a concert featuring countertenor Nacho Castellanos alongside Gato Murr.

Entitled, “The Purcell Tongue,” the program featuring the works of Purcell. The showcase mixes the sacred and profane, always with an eye on the spiritual.

“‘The Purcell Tongue’ aims to not only honor the composer capable of transcending the limits of the sacred, but also aims to reflect on those limits between the sacred and profane,” stated Castellanos per an official press release.

The program will have a duration of around 55 minutes.

The showcase takes place on March 10, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. local time at the Monasterio del Paular.
