The Lugano Arte e Cultura has announced its 2022-23 season entitled “La luce dell’ombra.”

The season will include a production of Verdi’s “La Traviata” conducted by Markus Poschner and directed by Carmelo Rifici. The set design will be by Guido Buganza while the light design will be by Alessandro Verazzi. The costumes will be by Margherita Baldoni while the choreography will be by Alessio Maria Romano.

Myrto Papatanasiu leads the production with Airam Hernández and Giovanni Meoni. The cast is rounded out by Sofya Tumanyan, Michela Petrino, Lorenzo Izzo, Davide Fersini, Laurence Meikle, and Mattia Denti.

Performance Dates: Sept 2-8, 2022

The season will also feature dance, music, and theater as well as visual artists, contemporary works, and family-friendly performances.
