Musique 3 Femmes to Present Opera Festival

Montréal’s Musique 3 Femmes is set to present an Opera Festival this April.

The festival, which takes place across four screenings on April 2 at the Cinema Moderne in Montréal, will feature five operas written by women. First up is “Vanishing Point” by Parisa Sabet and Nika Khanjani at 5:30 p.m. It premiered at the Festival International du Film sur l’Art.

At 6:30 p.m., audiences can check out “The Chair” by Maria Atallah and Alice Abracen and “Love Songs” by Ana Sokolovic. The third screening, scheduled for 8 p.m. will feature Sonia Paço-Rocchia and MEB’s “Justine et les Machines.”

The festival ends with Juno award-winning composer Keiko Devaux’s “L’écoute du perdu” at 9:15 p.m.
