
Musicians of the San Francisco Opera Orchestra to Showcase Free Concerts

Musicians of the San Francisco Opera Orchestra are set to present several free events at locations around San Francisco and Oakland.
First up is “Music and Flowers” at the Minnesota Street Project in San Francisco. The concert features music by Puccini, Mahler, Ginastera, Milone, and Delibes.” The concert will feature a reception, as well as an opportunity to tour the art gallery.
Performance Date: May 7, 2025
The comes “Night Music” at Piedmont Piano Company in Oakland. That program will feature works by Debussy, Piazolla, Bozza, Händel, Beethoven, Mahler, Ginastera, and Milone.
Performance Date: May 8, 2025
The final program in the series is “Soundcheck” with Eun Sun Kim and the entire ensemble. This one will feature Britten’s “The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra” as well as music by Purcell and Wagner. This showcase will take place at Saint Joseph’s Arts Society.
Performance Date: May 17, 2025
All events are free to families and audiences of all ages.
