Mark-Anthony Turnage and Rachael Hewer’s new opera, “The Railway Children,” gets its Wales premiere and second run. The opera is adapted from Edith Nesbit’s classic children’s book, and premiered at Glyndebourne during the 2025 season. Members of the Welsh National Opera and the original cast are joined by students from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff. Iwan Teifion Davies conducts the Welsh National Opera.

The final concert is performed by the Philomusica, Côr ABC, Symphony Orchestra of Aberystwyth, and Sinfonia Cymru. The full program is to be announced.
