Musical Extravaganza Announces 2026 Concert Season

Musical Extravaganza unveils its 2026 concert season.

The “Revedere” concert opens the season. Tenor Ştefan von Korch and baritone Adrian Mărcan perform with pianist Alexandru Burcă.

Soprano Oana Maria Şerban and tenor Stefan von Korch present “Je T’Aime.”

Performance Date: February 13, 2026


The “Vivo per lei” recital serves as artistic programming at the opening of the World Equestrian Endurance Championship. Soprano Oana Maria Şerban and tenor Stefan von Korch perform a mix of opera to pop-opera pieces.

Performance Date: February 22, 2026


Baritone Adrian Mărcan and tenor Stefan von Korch reunite for “Caruso.”

Performance Date: March 4, 2026


During the Easter holiday tenor Ştefan von Korch and pianist Alexandru Burcă present “Sacred Harmonies,” featuring famous masses and oratorios.

Performance Date: April 1, 2026


“Olé, Torero!” features traditional Iberic songs to selections from Bizet’s “Carmen.” Soprano Oana Maria Şerban and tenor Stefan von Korch perform.

Performance Date: April 24, 2026


Tenors George Vîrban, Mihai Urzicana, and Ştefan von Korch present “Duel of the Tenors.”

Performance Date: April 27, 2026


Soprano Mihaela Vîrban and tenors George Vîrban and Ştefan von Korch perform in the concert, “The Blue Danube.”

Performance Date: May 15, 2026


“In the beautiful month of May” features works by Schumann, Schubert, and Strauss. Tenor Ştefan von Korch and pianist Alexandru Burcă perform.

Performance Date: May 29, 2026


Soprano Oana Maria Şerban and tenor Stefan von Korch perform together in “Arrivereci, Roma!”

Performance Date: June 3, 2026


Up next is “Sous le ciel de Paris.” The program features French lyrical repertoire, arias, and chansons. Soloists are yet to be announced.

Performance Date: July 12, 2026


The company’s first full-length work of the season is “Carmina Burana.” The cast includes tenor Ştefan von Korch, baritone Fang Shuang, and soprano Oana Maria Şerban. They are joined by the Piteşti Philharmonic.

Performance Date: July 17, 2026


The next instalment of “Duel of the Tenors” features tenors George Vîrban, Mihai Urzicana, and Ştefan von Korch, along with Andrei Mihalcea, and Florin Georgescu.

Performance Date: August 6, 2026


Closing out the season is “Christmas Extravaganza.”

Performance Date: December 16, 2026
