The concert, entitled “End of the War to End All Wars,” will take place at the All Souls Church and is set to feature mezzo-soprano Barbara Dever in a program that includes music by Ravel, Holst, and Joseph Turrin.

Turrin’s piece, “And Crimson Roses Once Again Be Fair” is making its New York Premiere and was co-commissioned by Musica Viva NY, the New Orchestra of Washington, and the Washington Master Chorale.

Dever has performed all around the world throughout her career at such theaters as the Metropolitan Opera, Teatro Massimo in Palermo, the Teatro Bellini in Catania, and the Spoletto Festival among others.

Among her career highlights are performances alongside Plácido Domingo in “Samson et Dalila” in Mexico City as well as showcases alongside Luciano Pavarotti in “Pavarotti Plus.”
