Musica Viva NY Names New Executive Director

By David Salazar

Musica Viva NY has appointed Erinn Sensenig as its new Executive Director, effective June 1, 2026.

Sensenig, a soprano and member of Musica Viva NY and All Souls NY for several years, takes over for Jasna Vasic, who is stepping down after five seasons in the role. She recently served the organization as Production Manager and aims to continue her performing career alongside her new administrative role.

“Musica Viva NY has been an important part of my musical and personal life for many years, so stepping into the role of Executive Director feels deeply meaningful,” Sensenig stated, per an official press release. “What has always struck me about Musica Viva NY is the extraordinary combination of artistic ambition, warmth, and dedication that defines this community. This organization has a rich history and a clear artistic identity, and it is an honor to step into this role of leading and stewarding its future. I am especially excited to continue working alongside Alejandro, whose vision, musicianship, and collaborative spirit have shaped so much of my experience within this musical family.

“I look forward to building on the incredible work already underway and to continuing to serve this community that has already given me so much. Thank you for the trust, encouragement, and artistry that have made Musica Viva NY such a meaningful part of my life already. I am truly excited for this next chapter together.”
