Music Academy of West Announces Two New Board Members

The Music Academy of the West has announced new members to the board.

The organization revealed that Andrea Hein and Harrison M. Bains, Jr. will join the leadership of the organization. Hein is a retired entertainment industry executive who worked for 15 years with Paramount and Viacom. She was also vice president of merchandising for MGM studios and began her licensing career at Lucasfilm Ltd.

Bains held such positions as Senior Vice President of Chase Manhattan Bank, Senior Vice President and Treasurer of RJR Nabisco, and Acting Chief Financial Officer and Vice President and Treasurer of Bristol-Myers Squibb.

“I am delighted to welcome two exceptional members of the Santa Barbara community to the Music Academy Board of Directors. Andrea’s impressive experience in licensing, and Mac’s deep knowledge of banking and finance, amplify our Board’s overall mission to support the Music Academy’s impact,” said Maurice Singer, the Board Chair. 

“I’m thrilled to join forces with Andrea and Mac as we usher in a new era for the Music Academy. Their contributions strengthen an already formidable Board of Directors, steering the Academy towards a bright future,” added Shauna Quill, the Music Academy President and CEO.
