The second prize went to Jianing Lai from China and third to Alizé Léhon from France, who also took home the Prix du Comité Génération Opéra.

This year’s jury was made up of Oksana Lyniv, Claire Gibault, Wayne Marshall, Vineta Sareika, Fabienne Voisin, Philipp von Steinaecker, and Benjamin Schwartz.

La Maestra Paris Competition began in 2019 when the Philharmonie de Paris and the Paris Mozart Orchestra joined forces to create La Maestra International Competition for Women Conductors. The Competition is uniquely complemented by an Academy, which provides selected candidates with professional support for a period of two years.
