MidAm Productions Announces 2023-24 Season

MidAm Productions has announced its 2023-24 season. For the purposes of this article, our focus will be solely on vocal performances.

First up is a performance of music by Beethoven, Vivaldi, and Vaughan Williams. Peter Tiboris conducts the New England Symphonic Ensemble. This performance will take place at Carnegie Hall in New York

Performance Date: May 27, 2023

Next up is a performance of music by Beethoven, Rutter, Vivaldi, and Fauré’s Requiem in D Minor, Op. 48. Peter Tiboris conducts the New England Symphonic Ensemble. This performance will take place at Carnegie Hall in New York

Performance Date: June 3, 2023

John Rutter leads a performance of his own works with soprano Lucy Crowe as the main soloist. This performance will take place at Bath Abbey in England and features members of the Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra and numerous U.S.-based choral ensembles.

Performance Date: June 27, 2023

Peter Tiboris leads Mozart’s Requiem and Music by Barber and Mahler at the Church of Saint Panteleimon.

Performance Date: July 2, 2023

The company will present a Christmas Concert at Carnegie Hall alongside the New England Symphonic Ensemble and soloists to be announced. Will Kesling conducts.

Performance Date: Dec. 19, 2023

Peter Tiboris will lead a performance of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9. The program will also feature John Rutter conducting his “Magnificat.” Soloists will be announced at a later date. The performance will feature the New England Symphonic Ensemble. This performance will take place at Carnegie Hall in New York.

Performance Date: Jan. 7, 2024

Marc-André Bougie will lead the New York premiere of his own “Magnificat” with the New England Symphonic Ensemble. This performance will take place at Carnegie Hall in New York.

Performance Date: March 17, 2024

Matthew Bumbach leads members of the Hawai’i Symphony Orchestra and soloists to be announced in Mozart’s Coronation Mass, K. 317. This performance will take place in Honolulu, Hawai’i.

Performance Date: May 18, 2024

Lori Hetzel leads members of the Hawai’i Symphony Orchestra and soloists to be announced in Mozart’s “Vesperae Solennes de Confessore.” This performance will take place at in Honolulu, Hawai’i.

Performance Date: May 18, 2024

Matthew Bumbach leads members of the Hawai’i Symphony Orchestra and soloists to be announced in Justin Binek’s “Missa Lucis.” This performance will take place in Honolulu, Hawai’i.

Performance Date: May 18, 2024

Ryan Turner leads members of the Hawai’i Symphony Orchestra and soloists to be announced in Mendelssohn’s “Psalm 42.” This performance will take place in Honolulu, Hawai’i.

Performance Date: May 18, 2024

Joanna Nachef will lead the New England Symphonic Ensemble and soloists to be announced in Mozart’s Coronation Mass, K. 317. This performance will take place at Carnegie Hall in New York.

Performance Date: May 25, 2024

John Rutter will lead the New England Symphonic Ensemble in his own works with soloists to be announced. This performance will take place at Carnegie Hall in New York.

Performance Date: May 27, 2024

Terre Johnson will lead the New England Symphonic Ensemble and soloists to be announced in his own “Songs of Hope.” This performance will take place at Carnegie Hall in New York.
