Michelle Bradley, Brian Jagde, Kenneth Overton, Allegra Da Vita & Leona Mitchell Headline Tulsa Opera’s 2022-23 Season

Tulsa Opera has announced its 75th anniversary season.

The company will kick things off with the company premiere of Rossini’s “The Italian Girl.” The opera will star Allegra De Vita, Aaron Crouch, Robert Mellon, Ashraf Sweailam, Abigail Raiford, and V. Savoy McIlwain. Leslie Dunner conducts the production by Kimille Howard.

Performance Dates: Oct. 28 & 30, 2022

Next up is “Aida” as conducted by Daniela Candillari. The work will star Michelle Bradley, Michelle DeYoung, Brian Jagde, Todd Thomas, Morris Robinson, and Victoria Lawal.

Performance Dates: Feb. 25, 2023

Closing out the season will be the company premiere of Picker’s “Emmeline.” The opera will be directed by Tara Faircloth with Francesco Cilluffo conducting. Ann Toomey, Martin Luther Clark, Kenneth Overton, Leona Mitchell, Nathan Stark, Blair Cagney, Jennifer Roderer, Andrew Potter, Sam Briggs, Laura McHugh, Perry Sook, and Alexandra Johnson will star.

Performance Dates: May 12 & 14, 2023
