Michele Pertusi Joins Cast of ‘I Lombardi’ At Opéra de Monte-Carlo

The Opéra de Monte-Carlo has announced a cast and schedule change for its upcoming production of “I Lombardi alla Prima Crociata.”

The company announced that Michele Pertusi will take over the role of Pagano from Stefan Kocan who was originally scheduled to perform.

Additionally, the company announced that all performances in the run will start at 2 p.m. local time in accordance with government regulations due to the ongoing spread of COVID-19. The opera is set to be performed across four days starting on March 20, 2021 and ending on March 28, 2021.

The Verdi work will star Antonio Coriano, Cristina Giannelli, Nino Machaidze, Daniel Giulianini, Rémy Mathieu, Eugenio Di Lieto, Arturo Chacón-Cruz, and Michelle Canniccioni. Daniele Callegari conducts the production by Lamberto Puggelli.

The company is set to end its season with a production of “Boris Godunov” this April.
