“Crescendo!,” a short documentary about the Michael Fabiano is set to world premiere at DOC NYC.

The documentary tells the story of Fabiano as he faces concerns about living openly as a gay man within the traditionally conservative culture of his field. The documentary was directed by Alex Mallis and produced by Perri Peltz.

In a statement, Fabiano noted, “It’s called CRESCENDO and tracks the poignant issues of identity through my lens. The production team headed by director and producer Alex Mallis and also produced by the incredible Perri Peltz have made something powerful, beautiful, and aspirational and I hope you all will enjoy it. I’m proud of everyone’s hard work and dedication to our project and feel blessed to have worked with such a terrific team.”

The film premieres on Nov. 11 and is set to be distributed by Quibi.
