Miah Persson, Toshiaki Murakami, Stéphanie D’Oustrac, Hanna Hipp Headline OperaVision’s October 2021 Streaming Lineup

It all kicks off with the New National Theatre Tokyo’s production of “Carmen” starring Stéphanie D’Oustrac in the title role alongside Toshiaki Murakami as Don José, Alexandre Duhamel as Escamillo, and Ryoko Sunakawa as Micaëla. Other cast members include Hidekazu Tsumaya, Kenichi Yoshikawa, Hidekazu Machi, Shuhei Itoga, Mari Moriya, and Mika Kaneko.
Kazushi Ono conducts a production by Àlex Ollé.
Streaming Dates: Oct. 18, 2021- Jan. 18, 2022
The company will then close out the month with Garsington Opera’s production of “Der Rosenkavalier” starring Hanna Hipp as Octavian, Miah Persson as the Marschallin, Derrick Ballard as Baron Ochs, Madison Leonard as Sophie, and Richard Burkhard as Faninal. Jordan de Souza conducts a production by Bruno Ravella.
