Miah Persson, Ricarda Merbeth, Iwona Sobotka & Michael Schade Lead Orchestra RAI’s 2026-27 Season

The Orchestra RAI has announced its 2026-27 season. Here are the vocal performances.

Michele Mariotti and Miah Persson team up for Strauss’  “Vier letzte Lieder.” The concert also includes Schubert’s Symphony No. 9.

Performance Dates: Dec. 10 & 11, 2026

Fabio Luisi conducts Beethoven’s Symphony No.9 with Valentina Farcas, Anke Vondung, Tuomas Katajala, and Modestas Sedlevičius.

Performance Date: Dec. 22, 2026

Pietari Inkinen and Ricarda Merbeth perform a Wagner program.

Performance Dates: Jan. 14 & 15, 2027

Juraj Valčuha conducts Beethoven’s “Missa solemnis” with Iwona Sobotka, Olesya Petrova, Michael Schade, and Anthony Robin Schneider.

Performance Date: March 26, 2027

Pierre Bleuse conducts music by Kurtág and Žuraj with soloist Francesco Dillon and Maria Husmann.

Performance Date: May 14, 2027
