Mezzo.tv is set to present Resphigi’s “La Fiamma” from the Deutsche Oper Berlin on Oct. 7, 2024.

The new production is directed by Christof Loy and is conducted by Carlo Rizzi. Olesya Golovneva, Georgy Vasiliev, Ivan Inverardi, Martina Serafin, Doris Soffel, Sua Jo, Cristina Toledo, Martina Baroni, Karis Tucker, Caren Van Oijen, Patrick Guetti, Manuel Fuentes, Caitlin Gotimerc, and Chance Jonas-O’Toole star.

The opera will also be repeated on Nov. 5, 7, and 11, 2024.

“La Fiamma” made its world premiere on Jan. 23, 1934 at the Teatro dell’Opera in Rome and made its Deutsche Oper Berlin premiere on Sept. 29, 2024. The performances on Oct. 2 and 7 will be recorded audiovisually for Blu-ray by EuroArts in collaboration with rbb.
