Metropolitan Opera Unveils Programming for 2022 Summer Recital Series

The Metropolitan Opera has announced its 2022 Summer Recital Series.

This is the 13th year that the Met Opera presents the Summer Recital Series.

The series will open at the Central Park Summerstage in a concert starring Brittany Renee, Ben Bliss, and Justin Austin. Bryan Wagorn performs at the painio. The program then heads to Brooklyn Bridge Park.

Performance Date: June 20 & 22, 2022

Soprano Oliva Logan, Vladyslav Buialskyi, and Cierra Byrd will also deliver an additional four recitals at Robinson Park, Williambridge Oval, Socrates Sculpture Park, and Cloves Lake Park. The singers will be accompanied by Met assistant conductor Dimitri Dover.

Performance Date: June 23-29, 2022

The series is funded by Elizabeth B. McGraw Foundation, in honor of Mrs. McGraw. It also receives additional support from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, in partnership with the City Council, and in collaboration with the Department of Parks and Recreation.
