The Metropolitan Opera has postponed Sonya Yoncheva’s Met Stars Live in Concert performance.

The company announced that the performance featuring the famed soprano, which was rescheduled for this Saturday, Nov. 28, has now been moved to Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021, as Yoncheva is still ill (with a non-Covid illness).

The new date will be performed live from the Schussenried Cloister in southwest Germany at 1 p.m. EST/ 7 p.m. CET. The program will feature music by Verdi, Bellini, Puccini, Purcell, Bizet, Handel, and Dvorak.

The Met’s Live concert series continues in December with a concert by Bryn Terfel and the newly announced New Year’s Eve gala featuring Javier Camarena, Angel Blue, Pretty Yende, and Matthew Polenzani. In 2021, the series will continue with rescheduled performances from Anna Netrebko, Sondra Radvanovsky, Piotr Beczala, and Angel Blue.
