The Mendocino Music Festival has announced its 2024 edition. Here is a rundown of the vocal performances on offer.

A cappella vocal ensemble Soltice performs at Preston Hall.

Performance Date: July 15, 2024

There will be a series of concerts dedicated to the music of Fauré. First up, mezzo-soprano Silvie Jensen presents “Dolly Suite” alongside Julian Waterfall Pollack.

Performance Date: July 18, 2024

There will be a performance of “Così fan tutte” featuring Bianca Orsi, Megan Potter, Liisa Dávila, Matthew Peterson, Salvatore Atti, and Matthew Miksak. Ryan Murray conducts.

Performance Date: July 19, 2024

Then comes a performance by mezzo Kinda Scharich and pianist Jeffrey LaDeur as they take on “L’hiver a cesse.”

Performance Date: July 20, 2024

Mezzo-soprano Silvie Jensen and Susan Waterfall perform “Le jardin clos” as part of the program titled “Indian Summer.”

Performance Date: July 25, 2024

Closing out the festival is a performance led by Conductor Allan Pollack. The program includes Brahm’s “German Requiem” and Mozart’s 40th symphony. Soloists for the Brahms include Carrie Hennessey and Robert Sims.
