Opera Memphis is set to present “Socially Distanced Serenades” on Sunday, March 7, 2021.

The online showcase, which can be streamed live via Facebook, will feature performances by such artists as soprano Maria Fasciano, tenor Dane Suarez, baritone Jake Stamatis, and pianist Cris Frisco.

The soloists will perform a wide range of songs and arias by such composers as Tosti, Puccini, Respighi, Cilea, and Leoncavallo, among others.

Fasciano was a member of the Merola Opera Program and has appeared with Opera in the Rock, Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, and Chautauqua Opera, among others.

Suarez’s body of work includes appearances with West Bay Opera, Opera Neo, Opera San Jose, and Baltimore Concert Opera, among others. He was scheduled to appear with Fort Worth Opera and Opera in Heights in 2020, but those performances were canceled due to the spread of COVID-19.

Stamatis has appeared with Seagle Music Colony, and Tri-Cities Opera.
