Megan Moore & William Socolof Headline YCA’s Gala Concert

The Young Concert Artists will present a gala concert on May 2, 2022 at Zankel Hall in New York City.

The showcase will feature music by Katherine Balch, Steven Banks, Händel, Barber, and Stravinsky.

Mezzo-soprano Megan Moore and bass-baritone William Socolof will headline the program, which will also include performances by saxophonist Steven Banks, violist Hsin-Yun Huang, pianist Albert Cano Smit, flautist Anthony Trionfo, and pianist Zhu Wang.

Moore is set to make her Metropolitan Opera debut later this Spring in a production of “Hamlet.” She is also set to appear at Santa Fe Opera and has performed with such companies as Opera Naples, Berkshire Opera Festiva, The English Concert, the New York Choral Society, and the Shriver Hall Concert Series, among others.

Socolof was a vocal fellow at Tanglewood Music Festival and has appeared with such organizations as the Boston Symphony Orchestra and The Juilliard Chamber Orchestra.
