Megan Moore & Aleksey Bogdanov Headline Clarion’s ‘Rachmaninoff @ 150: Songs and Romances’

The showcase will feature baritone Aleksey Bogdanov, mezzo-soprano Megan Moore, and pianists Craig Ketter and Brian Zeger at the Park Avenue Christian Church in New York City.
Among the works on offer are selected songs and romances as well as Piano Works for Four Hands, Opus 11.
Bogdanov is renowned for his work in the Russian repertory, championing the works of Mussorgsky and Rachmaninoff; he recently sang in Rachmaninoff’s “The Bells” with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and also took on Shchelkalov in “Boris Godunov” at the Met Opera. This season, Moore performs with the Seattle Opera, San Diego Opera, Opera Theater of Saint Louis, and Santa Fe Opera.
