Seren-Piccinni studied at the Universität Mozarteum in Salzburg, where he obtained the Regie Diplom in 2014 and in 2019, he obtained a Master’s degree in opera directing at the Polo Nazionale Artistico di Alta Specializzazione sul Teatro musicale e coreutico in Verona.

In August 2025, he launched a short film, “Orfeo,” at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival. The film was a co-production between the Garda Festival (of which he is Artistic Director) and Bologna’s ICNN – Istituto Cinematografico Nuovi Narratori.

He has collaborated with the Arena di Verona, Salzburg Festival, and the Festival della Valle d’Itria in Martina Franca.

As the Artistic Director of the Garda Festival – Lake Garda International Music, Dance and Cinema Festival, organised by the Niccolò Piccinni Fund on the shores of Lake Garda, he has produced cultural events series celebrating performing arts and offering a repertoire ranging from baroque to contemporary, as well as the art of dance in its many expressions, from classical ballet to contemporary dance.
