The Riga Jurmala Music Festival has announced its 2020 festival taking place from July 11 to August 30 2020.

The vocal sextet The King’s Singers will take the stage to perform several works from Johann Sebastian Bach, William Byrd, and Harry Dixon Loes, among others.

Performance Dates: July 12, 2020 

Baritone Matthias Goerne will perform his critically acclaimed interpretation of Schubert’s Winterreise, D.911 in a recital with pianist Leif Ove Andsnes.

Performance Dates: August 29, 2020

Chinese tenor Long Long will sing Italian, French and Chinese songs in a recital with pianist Israel Gursky.

Performance Date: August 30, 2020

The festival will also showcase András Schiff, Yoav Levanon, Gautier Capuçon, Hélène Grimaud, Maria João Pires, Mao Fujita and  Nelson Freire among others. The Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra, Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, St. Petersburg Philharmonic and Philharmonia Orchestra from Riga will also perform throughout the festival.
