The Masters of Classic 2026 Festival has been canceled.

The festival, which was set for Sept. 12 and 13, 2026, would have seen a concert performance of “Aida” with Anna Netrebko, Jonas Kaufmann, and Luca Salsi and a performance with José Carreras.

The festival was set to be held in Bucharest at the Palace Hall.

Netrebko, Kaufmann and Salsi next perform at the Teatro San Carlo in concert reading of “Aida.” Netrebko and Kaufmann also sing in separate performances of “Aida” with different casts at the Arena di Verona. Salsi performs at the Arena di Verona in productions of “Nabucco” and “La Traviata.”
