Master Chorale of South Florida Unveils 2024-25 Season

The Master Chorale of South Florida has unveiled its 2024-25 season.

The chorale joins forces with the New World Symphony for a performance of Holst’s “The Planets.”

Performance Dates: Oct. 26, 2024

Then is a performance of Mendelssohn’s oratorio “Elijah.” The showcase is set to take place at the Bailey Hall at Broward College and the Performing Arts Center at Lynn University. Soloists include Robyn Marie Lamp, Clara Osowski, Steven Soph, and Tyler Duncan.

Performance Dates: Nov. 15-17, 2024

Then comes “Comfort & Joy” a holiday showcase at the First Presbyterian Church of Pompano Beach and St. Gregory’s Episcopal Church of Boca Raton. Brett Karlin conducts.

Performance Dates: Dec. 13-14, 2024

Kicking off the new year is a performance of “A Survivor from Warsaw” with the New World Symphony.

Performance Dates: Jan. 18-19, 2025

The chorale also collaborates with the New World Symphony on Britten’s “War Requiem.”

Performance Dates: March 15, 2025

Finally, the season ends with “American Voices at First Presbyterian Church of Pompano Beach and St. Gregory’s Episcopal Church of Boca Raton. “This program will showcase a kaleidoscope of American choral music and benefit Nat King Cole Generation Hope, an organization providing access to music education for children in need in South Florida,” says an official press release.

Performance Dates: May 9-10, 2025
