The Maryland Lyric Opera has appointed a new Director of Marketing, the first in the company’s history.
Taking on that unique distinction will be Marianna Gray.
According to the press release, Gray is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of management consulting experience, focused on devising and launching successful marketing campaigns for Fortune 500 companies and start-ups. As Director of Marketing and Communications, Gray will work collaboratively to increase brand awareness and visibility, and to expand the role of MDLO in the greater Washington community, making opera more accessible and exciting for a wide range of audiences, music lovers and newcomers alike.
The Maryland Lyric Opera recently opened its 2019-20 with concert performances of “Cavalleria Rusticana” and “Il Tabarro.” It is set to showcase a new production of “Le Nozze di Figaro” directed by Ruggero Raimondi.
