Markus Werba, Eleonora Buratto & Emily D’Angelo Headline Teatro alla Scala’s January Streaming Program

The Teatro alla Scala has announced its January streaming program.

The month will begin with a recital by Markus Werba accompanied by Michele Gamba. The program will be dedicated to Robert Schumann.

Streaming Date: Jan. 4, 2021

The month continues with Lorenzo Viotti conducting the La Scala orchestra in a program featuring Brahms Symphony No. 3 and Dvorak’s Symphony No. 7.

Streaming Date: Jan. 9, 2021

Carlo Boccadoro conducts a program that includes Niccolò Castiglioni’s Concertino per la notte di Natale, Philip Glass’ Company, Bruno Maderna’s Serenata 2, and Mauro Montalbetti’s Corpo in controcanto.

Streaming Date: Jan. 15, 2021

The final stream of the month will be Mozart’s “Così fan tutte.” Giovanni Antonini conducts a cast that includes Eleonora Buratto (Fiordiligi), Emily d’Angelo (Dorabella), Federica Guida (Despina), Alessio Arduini (Guglielmo), Bogdan Volkov (Ferrando) and Pietro Spagnoli (Don Alfonso).
