The Théâtre du Capitole du Toulouse is set to broadcast the new production of Bellini’s “Norma.”

The production starring Marina Rebeka, Karine Deshayes, and Airam Hernández star in the production by Anne Delbée. Giampaolo Bisanti conducts the performance.

The performance will be broadcast on Oct. 10, 2019 on France TV at 8 p.m. CEST / 2:00 p.m. EDT,Radio Classique at 9 p.m.  with a replay on france 3 occitanie at 11:30.

Rebeka opened the Toulouse season in the role of “Norma,” a work she has performed numerous times in productions at the Metropolitan Opera and Latvian National Opera. She is set to perform the work at the Staatsoper Hamburg this spring. She is scheduled to make role debuts as Tatiana in “Eugene Onegin” and Leonora in “Il Trovatore” at the Wiener Staatsoper. The soprano’s “La Traviata” recording  will also be released this fall on Prima Classic.
