Marina Rebeka will not sing a production of “Maria Stuarda” at the Dutch National Opera.

The soprano released a statement clarifying that her only performances are the ones listed on her website. She said, “I have received so many of your letters saying you bought tickets to my performances in which actually I will NOT be performing (including Maria Stuarda in Amsterdam). The only correct list of my future performances can be found on my official website.”

The soprano is currently listed in performances of a new production of “Maria Stuarda” at the Dutch National Opera which are set to take place  May 6 through 28, 2023.

However, during those dates, the soprano is set to perform at the Teatro alla Scala alongside Riccardo Chailly.

Rebeka is currently scheduled to return to the stage in January for a production of “I Vespri Sicilianni” at the Teatro alla Scala.
