Marin Alsop has joined Askonas Holt for management in Europe, Asia, and Australasia.

Alsop will be managed at Askonas Holt by Jo Fry and Dora Michael in collaboration with Tom Cunningham as General Manager at Opus 3 Artists.

Alsop is one of the greatest conductors of her generation and is the first woman to head major orchestras in the United States, South America, Austria, and Great Britain. She is currently the Chief Conductor of the ORF Vienna Radio Symphony and Artistic Director and Chief Conductor of the Polish National Radio Symphony. Alsop also serves as the Principal Guest of the Philharmonia and Philadelphia orchestras and extended her contract as Chief Conductor of the Ravinia Festival. The conductor also holds the titles of Music Director Laureate at the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and Conductor of Honour at São Paulo Symphony.

Alsop made history as the first US-born woman to conduct the Berliner Philharmoniker and made her Metropolitan Opera debut.
