The soprano will be presented with the accolade on May 14, 2018, at the Sale Apollinee of Teatro La Fenice where she will be performing “Norma.” Devia has announced that after the “Norma” performances she will be retiring from the Opera stage and will dedicate her career to singing concerts and teaching.

In anticipation of the awards ceremony, the Teatro La Fenice will celebrate Devia’s career by posting archival videos and photos on social media and WebRadio della Fenice will broadcast archival performances of the soprano’s legendary career.
