
Maria Teresa Leva & Iwona Sobotka to Headline Opera Hong Kong’s ‘Aida’

The famed masterwork is set to take the stage from Oct. 9-12, 2025 in a production conducted by Ramón Tebar and directed by Hugo de Ana.
Maria Teresa Leva and Iwona Sobotka will star in the title role, while Ivan Gyngazov and Marco Berti will appear as Radamès. The role of Amneris will be interpreted by Olesya Petrova and Nino Surguladze. Marco Caria and Bruak Bilgili will appear as Amonasro while Abramo Rosalen and Paul Gay rotate as Ramfis and the King of Egypt. Other cast members include Wesley Lam, Henry Ngan, Carol Lin, and Christy Li.
Warren Mok produces the opera which is part of the HKADC 30th Anniversary Gala Festival.
