Maria Mudryak, Antonio Poli To Headline Opera Italiana Is In the Air Concert In NYC

Opera Italiana is in the Air has announced that it will be returning to Naumburg Bandshell in Central Pak on July 1, 2019.

The free outdoor concert will feature the music of Rossini, Verdi, and Puccini with such artists as tenor Antonio Poli and soprano Maria Mudryak. Moreover, 11-year-old composer and singer Paloma Dineli Chesky will perform.

The concert will be led by Maestro Alvise Casellati, who will conduct the Opera Italiana Symphony Orchestra.

It’s a one of a kind performance featuring a superb lineup of master musicians and world-class Italian opera with the aim of sharing a unique and magical part of Italian culture with the city”, Casellati stated in a press release. “Our mission is to make opera accessible to everyone, especially young people, in a fun and relaxed environment. I hope the enchanting arias and beautiful voices will give the audience an unforgettable experience and make them fall in love with Italian opera.”

Opera Italiana is in the Air launched in 2017.
