Maria Josè Siri, Clémentine Margaine & Luca Micheletti Lead Teatro Filarmonico’s 2022 Season

The Teatro Filarmonico announced its 2022 season featuring several new productions and rarely performed works.

Here is a look.

The company will present Wolf-Ferrari’s “Il segreto di Susanna” and Puccini’s “Suor Angelica” in a double bill. Gianna Fratta conducts the new production by Federica Zagatti Wolf-Ferrari and Giorgia Guerra. Vittorio Prato and Lavinia Bini star in Wolf-Ferrari’s opera while Donata D’Annunzio Lombardi, Graziella De Battista, Alessandra Andreetti, Alice Marini, Rosanna Lo Greco, Sonia Bianchetti, Jessica Zizioli, Elisa Fortunati, Manuela Schenale, Grazia Montanari, and Cecilia Rizzetto star in Puccini’s work.

Performance Dates: Jan. 30-Feb. 6, 2022

Ivan Magrì, Luca Micheletti, Ruth Iniesta, Gianluca Buratto, and Anastasia Boldyreva star in Verdi’s “Rigoletto” in a production of Arnaud Bernard. Francesco Ommassini conducts.

Performance Dates: Feb. 27-March 6, 2022

Rossini’s “La scala di seta” is set to be conducted by Nikolas Nägele and directed by Stefania Bonfadelli. Manuel Amati stars alongside Eleonora Bellocci, Caterina Piva, Matteo Roma, Carlo Lepore, and Emmanuel Franco.

Performance Dates: March 27-April 3, 2022

Vivaldi’s “Orlando Furioso” will be conducted by Giulio Prandi and directed by Fabio Ceresa. The production will star Clémentine Margaine, Francesca Aspromonte, Lucia Cirillo, Chiara Tirotta, Laura Polverelli, Federico Fiorio, and Christian Senn.

Performance Dates: May 8-15, 2022

Ponchielli’s “La Gioconda” is set to conducted by Giampaolo Bisanti in a production by Filippo Tonon. Maria Josè Siri and Monica Conesa star in the title role with Annalisa Stroppa, Simon Lim, Agostina Smimmero, Samuele Simoncini, Sebastian Catana, Alessandro Abis, and Francesco Pittari.

Performance Dates: Oct. 23-30 2022

Puccini’s “La bohème” is set to star Karen Gardeazabal, Giuliana Gianfaldoni, Galeano Salas, Gabriel Bermúdez, Jan Antem, and Francesco Leone.

Performance Dates: Dec. 11-18, 2022
