María José Siri, Anna Pirozzi, Jessica Pratt & Paolo Fanale Lead Ópera de las Palmas’s 2022 Season

Spain’s Ópera de las Palmas has announced its 2022 season featuring five productions.

The season opens with Puccini’s “Manon Lescaut” starring María José Siri, Bryan Hymel, and Joungjun Park.

Performance Dates: Feb. 22-26, 2022

Donizetti’s “Don Pasquale” is set to star Paolo Fanale, Simón Orfila, and Claudia Pavone with Ramón Tebar conducting.

Performance Dates: March 22-26, 2022

Francesco Ivan Ciampa conducts Verdi’s “Un ballo in maschera” starring Ramón Vargas, Carlos Álvarez, and Rebeka Lokar.

Performance Dates: April 26-30, 2022

Anna Pirozzi, Alfred Kim, and Enkbat Amartuvshin lead the cast for Verdi’s “Ernani” with Guillermo García Calvo conducting.

Performance Dates: May 24-28, 2022 

Por último la ACO ofrecerá entre el 21 y el 25 de junio Offenbachs “Les Contes d’Hofmann” closes the season with Jessica Pratt as the four heroines and Arturo Chacón-Cruz in the title role. Alexander Vinogradov and Paola Gardina round out the cast with Carlo Montanaro directing.

Performance Dates: June 21 & 25, 2022
