Malmö Opera will live stream its production of “The Shining” on Sept. 27 at 10 a.m. EDT.

The opera by Paul Moravec and Mark Campbell based on the Stephen King novel, premiered at Malmö Opera on Aug. 22 and runs through Oct. 7 in a co-production with the Finnish National Opera and Ballet.

Patrik Ringborg conducts the Malmö Opera Orchestra and Chorus. Peter Kajlinger sings Jack Torrance, with Cornelia Beskow as Wendy Torrance and Luthando Qave as Dick Hallorann.

Director Keith Warner leads the production, with sets by Ashley Martin-Davis, costume and mask design by Nicky Shaw, lighting by Robbie Butler and choreography by Mandy Demetriou.
